  1. The company Fetch Robotics introduced an autonomous robot PalletTransport1500 that supports working procedures of cross-docking, returns and case picking for contactless pallet transport in distribution centers. For safe transport of pallets and other big cargoes weighing up to 1,1 tonne, PalletTransport1500 uses the Momentum software for warehouse operations from the company Honeywell Intelligrated.
  2. Oracle has added logistical capabilities Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing. Among new functions, there are rules for goods origin qualification enabling the customers to comply with the relevant regulations, as well as machine learning that allows the shippers to predict transport times, reduce costs related with unplanned delays and make the customer experience better.
  3. For more effective services, New Orleans Terminal has developed an internal system of warehouse management on a cloud platform. It enables sending online requirements for pricing, quick invoice processing, transparency, smooth communication and better internal reporting options. Because the system is placed in a cloud platform, the warehouse management can be updated in real time by more users.
  4. The company Asendia (the common enterprise of La Poste and Swiss Post) has launched a new service e-PAQ for online retailers that want to build an international customer base. It’s going to enable contacting clients in more than 200 countries.
  5. GEODIS has extended their service AirDirect by adding a weekly flight from Shanghai to Guadalajara. This service is an addition to the GEODIS network connecting China with Europe and North America and provides direct access to Mexico from North and Central China.
