Roman Karkoška – project manager, Dynamic Future Ltd.

At the end of 2014 we have succesfully completed another project. The project target was to correct allocate the disposable sources for the planned intensification of the production. We created the complex simulation model for the verification of production scenarios. The model shows the real environment of the production line which is including the existing workplaces and new created workplaces, thus the current state transformated to the future solution.

The model gives answers to us using the graphic and tab-analytic outputs. It shows us the production line desing (at given parametrical setting) and it shows how the line will handle the speculated production plan. The parametric setting including the production plan and the work procedure is the subject of the simulation scenario.

The production scenarion parametres:

  • the production plan
  • the working procedure of operations (operational times, workplaces, operators, time of staying of operartors after the operation, handling technology, spatial location)
  • number of workers, shifts, working groups
  • disposable limitation (spatial location, preparates)
  • time parametrization of a crane non-availability and the CNC center (parallel using at other projects)

The project respects the perspective opportunity – to use the model as the user´s tool. The final model can be used in Witness Viewer and Excel is the interface between the user and the simulation model. The input data of the simulation scenario and the simulation outputs are there clearly organized and structurated at one package.

The elementary structure of analytic outputs:

  • the production, PDV (component, report, final)
  • load of sources, identified states
  • operators (production and handling operations)
  • workplaces
  • cranes, forklifts
  • preparates
  • occupation of locations
